LIVE: Search at Ruben Hayrapetyan's Residence

We previously reported that the special forces of the Armenian police, along with employees of the 6th department, are currently conducting a search at the residence of former president of the Football Federation of Armenia, Ruben Hayrapetyan, as well as at several buildings associated with his name.

At this moment, the search is ongoing, and 168.am is providing a live broadcast from the area of the residence.

It is worth mentioning that the police had received operational information regarding businesses belonging to Hayrapetyan and began preparing materials related to them. According to media reports, Ruben Hayrapetyan is the actual owner of the “Armenian Development Bank” and the “Zeytun Furniture Factory” LLC.

From 2012 to 2018, during his tenure as president of the FFA, Hayrapetyan organized the construction and renovation of football stadiums and sports schools in several cities of Armenia, during which he failed to fulfill or only partially fulfilled the obligations stipulated in the contracts and embezzled significant amounts of money. Additionally, there were previous media reports indicating that the federation had signed contracts worth millions of dollars with Hayrapetyan's companies for construction purposes during his presidency.
