Gagik Surenyans on the Weather in the Coming Days
The head of the meteorological center of the Hydromet service, Gagik Surenyans, has stated on his Facebook page: 'Almost all meteorological services in European countries are publishing information about the anomalously warm weather expected across Europe in the coming days. A powerful wave of warm air originating from the Sahara Desert will begin moving north from December 14. This air mass will affect the entire continent, reaching as far as the Scandinavian countries, the European part of Russia, Asia Minor, the Middle East, and Armenia.'
It has already been noted that from December 14-17, a gradual increase in temperature is expected across Armenia, with a rise of approximately 5-7 degrees compared to today. After December 14, particularly high temperature levels are anticipated in Tavush and Syunik, where the air temperature in the valley areas during the daytime is expected to reach +18 to +20 degrees Celsius.'
