Accident on the Artashat-Sasunik Highway: There Are Injured

On December 12, at 23:00, the emergency service "911" reported an accident on the Artashat-Sasunik highway.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a "GAZel" (driver’s details have not been clarified) and a "Skoda Octavia" (driver: Gevorg S., born in 1991) collided at the 3rd kilometer of the Artashat-Sasunik highway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the call site, the driver of the "Skoda Octavia" and the passenger, Karen H. (born in 1977), were hospitalized at the Artashat Medical Center, where doctors assessed the injured individuals' health as satisfactory.

Rescuers disabled the vehicles and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
