Zohrab Mnatsakanyan Calls U.S. Senate Resolution a Decisive Step
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, has responded to the adoption of the U.S. Senate resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
According to Armenpress, Minister Mnatsakanyan stated, “The unanimous adoption of Resolution 150 by the U.S. Senate is a decisive step in serving justice, truth, and the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. It is a tribute to the memory of the victims and their dignity. We thank Senators Robert Menendez, Ted Cruz, and all members of the U.S. Senate.”
On December 12, the U.S. Senate unanimously adopted Resolution 150, which recognizes and condemns the Armenian Genocide.
