VIDEO: Citizens Will Be Wiretapped; MP's Clarification on Aurora Live Broadcast

Moments ago, MP Vahagn Hovakimyan of the My Step faction called in and joined the discussion on Radio Aurora's "Question of the Day" program. Today's discussion centers on the topic: "Will citizens be wiretapped by the police in Armenia?"

It is noteworthy that a few days ago, the National Assembly accepted in the first reading a draft law authored by MPs Armen Khachatryan and Sipan Aghababyan from the My Step faction, which proposes granting the police the right to wiretap phone conversations in addition to the National Security Service.

The government had given a negative conclusion on the draft law.
