Pipes Dismantled from Inactive Irrigation Pipeline Transported to Home Yard
Police officers from the Noyemberyan division, acting on operational data, conducted a search on December 7 in the yard of a resident in the Tavush province. They discovered 8 intact galvanized pipes, each measuring 5 meters in length, as well as 5 horizontal segments, also 5 meters long, which the owner had prepared as a cover for hay stacks.
The 77-year-old homeowner reported that the pipes were dismantled without permission approximately 15 years ago from an inactive irrigation pipeline located in the area known as "Tegout Ghobin" in the village of Koti. He had transported them to his yard. The extent of damage is currently being determined, and a forensic examination has been ordered. Preparations are underway for further legal action.
