Numerous Loans Have Been Voted Against, Says Zohrapyan
Yes, there have been loans that we voted in favor of, such as for the acquisition of weapons and for the asphalt paving in Gyumri, among other taxes, but there have been many loans that we voted against, reminded Naira Zohrapyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia faction, during today’s extraordinary session of the National Assembly.
Addressing the authorities, the MP posed a question: “Why are you upset that we want to get a very clear answer to this question? If we have no financial problems today, as repeatedly cited from the podium of the National Assembly by the Prime Minister, why are you saying, ‘It’s a privileged loan, go ahead, we will think later about how to spend it?’ You should have thought about this beforehand and had a rough roadmap in place. It’s not that the government is infallible, uncriticizable, and unquestionable. Be tolerant towards dissenting opinions,” the MP concluded.
