It's Not Good That You Are an Experienced MP and You Say It's Not Good About the Budget Deficit: Tyunyan to Urikhanian

Armenia, like many other countries, writes its budget with a deficit to spend more than it collects in taxes. This is done to stimulate the economy. Babken Tyunyan, a lawmaker from the My Step Alliance and an economist, stated this from the podium of the National Assembly.

He addressed Tigran Urikhanian, a member of the Prosperous Armenia faction, who characterized the government's new loan agreements as "not good."

"It's not good that you are an experienced MP and you say it's not good about the budget deficit. There's no good or bad in this situation," Tyunyan said.

He added that if necessary, Urikhanian could consult with nearby MP Mikael Melkumyan (also an economist from the Prosperous Armenia faction), who can explain everything in detail.
