Aliyev's Assistant Claims Armenia is Hindering Negotiations Over Nagorno-Karabakh
The head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev, expressed dissatisfaction with Armenia's stance regarding the negotiation process over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He stated, “Armenia continues its destructive policy regarding the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Armenia is hindering the negotiation process in every possible way. First and foremost, the contradictory statements from Armenia are obstructing the talks,” said Hajiyev.
According to him, a humanitarian action was organized with the initiative of the OSCE Minsk Group involving reciprocal visits of journalists from both countries. Hajiyev mentioned that he is not aware of similar new initiatives.
