VIDEO: NASA Displays Explosion of Rocket Fuel Tank
The strength of the prototype of the main fuel tank for the SLS super heavy rocket, designed for missions to the Moon and Mars, has been showcased.
“Success. NASA engineers have tested the SLS liquid hydrogen tank. It withstood more than 260% of normal load before the explosion,” wrote NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine on Facebook.
