Two Russian Citizens Kidnap, Stab, and Rob Another Russian in Yerevan

On December 10, a robbery occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 6:15 PM, the "Saint Gregory the Illuminator" Medical Center reported to the police central department that a citizen with a "laceration wound to the left thigh" had been transported there. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

A police operational group headed by Central Division Chief Aran Papyan and the head of the operational unit Nikolian rushed to the hospital. The officers learned that the victim was a 21-year-old Russian citizen named Ivan F.

While doctors at the "Saint Gregory the Illuminator" Medical Center fought for his life, investigators from the Central and Norq-Margah Administrative District Investigative Department of the Armenian Investigative Committee, led by investigator Sedoyan, discovered that on the same day at around 8:00 AM, two Russian citizens, 22-year-old Daniil-Kristian S. and 22-year-old Nikolay R., had assaulted Ivan F. in an apartment on Amiryan Street.

The assailants tied his hands and feet, threatened him with a knife, and demanded that he transfer $2,000 from his account to theirs. They then stole Ivan F.'s notebook, mobile phones, and wallet, which contained approximately 150,000 drams and 30 Georgian lari.

According to preliminary information, Nikolay R. stabbed Ivan F., after which the suspects left him tied up and fled the scene.

The Armenian Investigative Committee is preparing materials regarding this incident. The police and investigative department are undertaking necessary operational-investigative measures to locate suspects Daniil-Kristian S. and Nikolay R., as well as to recover the stolen items.
