Toyota Involved in Accident and Overturned in Shirak Province; Injured Driver in Hospital

On December 11, a major traffic accident occurred in Shirak Province. Around 3:00 PM, a resident of Yerevan, 35-year-old Armen Sargsyan, lost control of his Toyota vehicle with license plate 35 NF 668 near 73 Baghramyan Street in the city of Gyumri under still unknown circumstances, causing the car to veer off the roadway and overturn into a field.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, driver A. Sargsyan was transported with bodily injuries to the Gyumri Medical Center. Officers from the second platoon of the second company of the traffic police arrived promptly at the scene, led by platoon commander Vache Malakyan.

The investigation at the scene was supervised by senior investigator Nairi Gasparyan from the same platoon, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.
