Gorik Hakobyan Has Destroyed Documents Related to Our Country Besides March 1
The newspaper "Joghavorud" reports: "On December 7th, exclusive details regarding the destroyed documents by the National Security Service (NSS) were published by the newspaper. Tigran Barseghyan, former head of the NSS Department for Constitutional Affairs, Public Order Protection, and Counter-Terrorism, who was interrogated in the case, noted that the destroyed materials are directly related to the March 1 case. He provided new details.
“Gorik Hakobyan not only destroyed documents related to March 1, but also many documents concerning our country and the state,” he stated. When asked for clarification on what materials he was referring to, he explained: “These relate to assistance provided to Armenia by international organizations and, in general, diplomatic entities, documents concerning the Artsakh issue, economic matters, and many issues related to our country’s security have been destroyed. I have reported the originals of all these documents to him. He would take them, report to the president of the country, bring them back, keep them in his safe and not return them to me, but I have kept copies in the files.
Regarding these, I have additionally informed our oversight service and requested a meeting; if necessary, I will provide information about them and specify where they are kept. If these documents can assist, and they can assist our current prime minister regarding his political line, I am ready to indicate their locations so that they can be discovered and published. Gorik Hakobyan has indeed committed a state crime, and not only he but also by the directive of Serzh Sargsyan. Perhaps they decided to destroy those documents, how much they destroyed, and what was kept will be shown by the internal investigation. I am telling you clearly now that he kept the originals of those documents with him and did not return them to me.
When the prime minister speaks about the destroyed documents, it is evident that he has been informed that besides March 1, there are other destroyed documents, and I can provide information regarding their location, which is very important."
