Ice Bucket Challenge Creator Peter Frates Passes Away

Peter Frates, the American creator of the Ice Bucket Challenge, has passed away today, reports Korrespondent. He was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 2012.

Two years later, he invented the Ice Bucket Challenge, aimed at raising funds for individuals suffering from this neurological disease. Peter Frates was nominated for the Person of the Year award for his idea of the Ice Bucket Challenge.
