Alberto Fernandez Takes Office as President of Argentina

Alberto Fernandez has officially assumed the role of President of Argentina. According to TASS, the inauguration ceremony took place in the Argentine Congress, attended by senators and deputies.

The presidential staff and sash were handed over to the new leader of the state by former President Mauricio Macri.

The presidential elections in Argentina were held on October 27, where Fernandez won with 47.82% of the vote.
