Accident Near 'Ardzvi Tever': Opel and Mercedes Collide, Injuries Reported

Today, on December 10, an accident occurred in the Kotayk province. At around 17:10, on the 15 km section of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, near the statue known to the public as 'Ardzvi Tever,' a collision took place between an Opel vehicle with license plate 53 30 HY driven by 42-year-old Sergey S. from Gegharkunik province and a Mercedes with license plate 99 AF 696 driven by 19-year-old Vaha Kh., a resident of Kotayk province.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the collision, both driver Sergey S. and his passenger, 24-year-old Hakob B. from Gegharkunik province, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the 'Abovyan' medical center.

Officers from the 1st platoon of the 3rd battalion of the 2nd police division arrived at the scene, led by battalion commander Arthur Petrosyan and platoon commander Tigran Kotanjyan.
