Woman Sentenced for Killing Husband Over Lost Dog in Russia

The city court of Syktyvkar in Russia's Komi Republic has sentenced a woman to one year of imprisonment for killing her husband. This information was reported by the prosecution.

The incident occurred after the husband lost their dog during a walk. According to data from the prosecutor's office, the couple had an argument during which the woman struck her husband in the face multiple times, resulting in a closed head injury. The man died on the way to the hospital.

The woman has been convicted of causing death by negligence.
