Tarantino, Scorsese, and Phillips Nominated for Golden Globe Awards

Quentin Tarantino (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Martin Scorsese (The Irishman), and South Korean director Bong Joon-ho (Parasite) have been nominated for the Best Director category at the annual Golden Globe Awards.

According to RIA Novosti, British director Sam Mendes is also nominated for his film 1917 and American director Todd Phillips for Joker.

The Golden Globe Awards are presented annually by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, and the 77th ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on January 5.
