LIVE: Court Releases Ruling on Kocharyan's Case Appeal

Recently, during the examination of the appeal regarding the detention measure for Robert Kocharyan, who is accused in the March 1 case, Prosecutor Gevorg Baghdasaryan submitted a motion for self-recusal to Judge Mkhitar Papoyan.

The prosecutor argued that based on the judge's reports, a criminal case had been initiated regarding the examination of Kocharyan. Therefore, according to the prosecutor, the court cannot be impartial.

In response to the prosecutor's motion, Kocharyan's defense attorneys lodged an objection. Today, the court will announce its decision.
