Emergency Incident in Kotayk Province: Fire Breaks Out in Nissan Car Under Unknown Circumstances

Today, on December 8, a fire occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 09:20, due to unknown circumstances, a fire broke out in a Nissan vehicle with license plate 36 OC 804 on Zarovar Andranik Avenue in the city of Hrazdan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the firefighting unit of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived promptly with one firefighting team. The firefighters extinguished the fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle, preventing the spread of the flames.

Officers from the 2nd Battalion of the 2nd Unit of the Road Police also quickly arrived at the scene, led by Sergeant Sargis Bagratyan. The road police conducted enhanced services at the location to ensure that curious citizens did not park their vehicles, allowing the firefighters to work freely.

The duty crew of the Hrazdan Police Department also arrived at the scene, and materials are being prepared in relation to the incident. The police are working to establish the identity of the driver.
