Car Plunges into Ravine on Spitak-Aparan Road, Injuries Reported
On December 7, at 21:43, the emergency services were notified of a traffic accident on the Vanadzor-Spitak road.
A firefighting rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a Mercedes C-class car, driven by Tigran M. (born in 1991), had veered off the roadway near the 12th kilometer of the Spitak-Aparan road and plunged into a nearby ravine (around 8 meters).
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, passengers Anush Sh. (born in 1970) and Alvard Y. (born in 1960) were transported to Spitak Medical Center, where doctors assessed their health condition as satisfactory.
The rescuers managed to pull the car out of the ravine.
