Teacher Hit by Car with Children in Nizhny Novgorod Has Died

As previously reported, a teacher was struck by a car while escorting 10 children across the street in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. According to RIA Novosti, the injured teacher has died after being taken to the hospital.

It is noted that the teachers were taking the children to the theater and were crossing the street at a designated pedestrian crossing. Mayor Vladimir Panov stated that the incident is a great tragedy and that the driver of the vehicle is to blame.
