How to Know If There Are Mines in the Area
The Humanitarian Demining and Expert Center has printed around 500 booklets on the topic of mine danger awareness. These booklets are in Arabic and are intended for Syrians, outlining the rules of safe behavior. This was reported by Nazeli Elbakyan, the public relations officer of the Humanitarian Demining and Expert Center.
According to her, the package has been handed over to the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Armenia to be delivered to Aleppo. The booklets will be provided to representatives of the UN Mine Action Service. Armenian specialists conducting humanitarian missions in Syria are regularly organizing awareness training sessions alongside demining efforts, aiming to reduce the number of civilians affected by mine explosions.
