Difficult Road Conditions in Armenia: Fog in Kapan and Kajaran

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of December 7 at 10:00 AM, there are difficult road conditions across Armenia.

The Sotk-Karvachar road and the Vardenyats pass are open for all types of vehicles, while trucks can pass using snow chains.

In the Kotayk province, there are patches of black ice on the roads. Fog is observed in the cities of Kapan and Kajaran in the Syunik province.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Command Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
