Who Are the Candidates for HFF President

During a press conference at the Armenian Football Federation (HFF) headquarters, the federation announced the names of the presidential and executive committee candidates.

The candidates for the HFF presidency include Armen Melikbekyan, the HFF vice president nominated by Urartu and Van, Horen Hovhannisyan, president of the Ani club, and Tovmas Grigoryan, president of Lori. This was announced by Arthur Azaryan, head of the football department of the HFF and deputy secretary general.

The HFF rejected the nomination of Arsen Agajanyan, the founder of Cyprus's Ararat, put forth by the Pyunik club, due to discrepancies in the documentation package submitted by Pyunik which was found to be inconsistent with the HFF regulations.

The elections will take place during the HFF extraordinary general meeting on December 23.
