Video: All Tickets for Lausanne 2020 Opening Ceremony Sold Out in 2 Hours

All tickets for the opening ceremony of the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games were sold out in just 2 hours. The opening ceremony, which will reflect Swiss culture and traditions, is set to take place on January 9 at the Vaudoise Sports Palace, accommodating 8,000 spectators.

The ticket prices for the opening ceremony ranged from 59 to 99 Swiss francs. The official song of the Games titled 'Start Now' was also presented. Admission to all sports events and award ceremonies of the Winter Youth Olympic Games will be free of charge. The organizers have also decided to cancel the closing ceremony, replacing it with a disco event in the city center of Lausanne.
