Why didn’t you say once in a year that appearing in jeans, sneakers, and T-shirts at council meetings is disrespectful to the state institution?

Member of the Yerevan Council's "Luminous" faction, Ani Khachaturyan, writes on her Facebook page:

"Nikol Pashinyan said in one of his speeches in the National Assembly today that sheikhs come to meetings with the Mayor of Yerevan dressed in jeans, sneakers, and T-shirts. He believes that this is disrespectful to the state institution. Almost the same was said yesterday by Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan.

I completely share your approach, but a question arises: the Yerevan City Hall is a state body providing community services, and the Yerevan City Council is the highest representative body of local self-government in Yerevan. Why, then, didn’t you say even once in a year that friends, appearing in jeans, sneakers, and T-shirts at a session of the highest representative body of the city of Yerevan is disrespectful to the state institution?

Mr. Hayk Marutyan, when I mentioned this during one of the sessions of the highest representative body of local self-government in Yerevan, why didn’t you say that I was right, preferring to protect that attitude towards the state institution?"
