VIDEO: Armenians in Russia Prevent Azerbaijanis from Filming Report on Nzhdeh Monument Removal
A video has surfaced from Armavir, Russia, where local Armenians are seen engaging in a conversation with Azerbaijanis attempting to film a report regarding the removal of Garegin Nzhdeh's memorial plaque.
According to the video's description, the Azerbaijanis, who claimed to be journalists, sought to create a provocative video on the premises of a Armenian church where the memorial had previously stood; however, they were not allowed to proceed.
One Armenian confronted an Azerbaijani, asking, "Why are you lying and provoking? Can you answer why you're doing this? Do you enjoy that there's war at home? And you come to our house to wage war?" The Azerbaijanis were left speechless and could not respond.
The conversation also revealed that the individuals were not citizens of Russia, but were citizens of Azerbaijan.
