Hraparak: Before It Was Possible to Block a Street, Now It's Not

Hraparak newspaper reports that yesterday, young people who had gone to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports demanding to meet with Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, faced a wall and began to call for the minister's resignation. However, the city center had been put on high alert, and police were stationed at every corner.

The police first removed the young protesters from in front of the ministry's entrance, and when the demonstrators blocked the street, they began to detain them and use force. When one of the officers announced that by blocking the street they were violating the rights of others, stating, 'You are blocking a huge street with 20 people,' the protesters reminded them, 'Before it was possible to block a street, now it's not.'
