Video: Write about love in your poem, don't write about leaders, says Nikol Pashinyan to a young resident

The first stop of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s visit to the Ararat region was in the village of Sis. It was here that the Prime Minister promised the local children to improve the roads, and now he returned to Sis to observe the ongoing road construction work.

During his visit, one of the children approached the Prime Minister and said, “I have prepared a poem for you.” The child dedicated the following lines to the Prime Minister: “You, our esteemed leader, were elected just for us, you did not ignore our request, you fulfilled our desires.”

The Prime Minister jokingly responded that leaders shouldn’t be praised so much. Later on, he advised the child, “When writing a poem, write about love, write about nature, don’t write about leaders.” Shortly after, the young resident of Sis gave an interview to reporters discussing new possible dreams.
