President Armen Sarkissian Offers Condolences to Families of Victims of Bus Accident in Chita
President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian has sent a condolence telegram to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin regarding the tragic incident that occurred in the Trans-Baikal region.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Office of the President of Armenia, President Sarkissian has requested to convey his condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
It is worth mentioning that the governor of the Trans-Baikal region, Alexander Osipov, announced December 2 as a day of mourning in the Sretensky district following a major road traffic accident (RTA) that resulted in the death of 19 people and injuries to the same number. On December 2, a passenger bus traveling from Sretensk to Chita fell from a bridge measuring 9-12 meters high into the Kuenga River.
