Armenian Mine Clearance Specialists Clear 2417 Square Meters in Syria
Armenian mine clearance specialists, part of a humanitarian mission in Syria, have cleared 2417 square meters of land between November 1 and 30.
During the demining operations, they discovered 2 units of 120 mm shells, 2 units of TM-62P3 mines, 1 PMN-2 mine, 4 OZM-72 mines, and 2 homemade explosive devices. Meanwhile, Armenian doctors have examined and provided assistance to 1147 people during the same period.
Since February, Armenian specialists have treated approximately 6800 patients, while the demining teams have cleared an area of 123 thousand square meters.
