Sambo World Cup: Vahagn Chalyan Wins Silver Medal

Armenian sambist Vahagn Chalyan has won a silver medal at the Kazakhstan President’s Cup held in Nur-Sultan, which is one of the stages of the Sambo World Cup.

This was reported by the press service of the Armenian National Olympic Committee. In the sports sambo competition in the 82 kg weight category, the athlete from Artsakh reached the finals, where he was defeated by Ukrainian Dmytro Stetsenko, securing second place.

The tournament featured 150 sambists from 13 countries.
