Pakistan to Return $93.5 Million Debt to Russia
Russia and Pakistan have signed an agreement that outlines the terms and timelines for the fulfillment of financial obligations between the two parties. This was reported by the RIA Novosti news agency.
Pakistan's financial obligations towards Russia arose during the processes of exports and imports during the Soviet Union era.
According to the agreement, Islamabad will return $93.5 million to Moscow.
The agreement was signed by the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Sergey Storchak and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Pakistan to Russia, Kazim Halilullah.
