Mayor Marutyan Introduces Newly Appointed Head of Central Administrative District to Staff
The Mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Marutyan, has introduced the newly appointed head of the Central Administrative District, Aved Poghosyan, to the district staff. According to the information and public relations department of the Yerevan Municipality, Mayor Marutyan expressed his gratitude to the district's former head, Viktor Mnatsakanyan, and the staff for their work, expressing hope for effective cooperation and work with the new director of the administrative district.
“As a municipal authority, our main mission is to create systems. We are establishing systems so that the heads of administrative districts, deputy mayors, department heads, and the mayor, regardless of who they may be in the future, will operate in a way that the city remains stable under all circumstances. And every municipal authority will simply make its own adjustments in all these areas, creating even newer systems,” emphasized the mayor.
Hayk Marutyan noted that the municipality has initiated several legislative changes today aimed at preventing illegal construction, outdoor illegal trade, and addressing issues related to multi-apartment residential buildings.
“Equality, justice, and the supremacy of the law are our core principles. Many economic operators have interests right in the center. And the approach must be equal for all economic actors. It has been repeatedly stated that we have no privileged individuals; we do not have people who can do something while others cannot. This principle applies across all sectors,” the mayor emphasized.
In solving the problems facing the city and realizing various initiatives of the municipal authority, Hayk Marutyan also highlighted the importance of cooperation with residents and daily work.
