VIDEO: Arsen Torosyan and MP Clash in National Assembly

In the permanent committee on Health and Social Affairs of the National Assembly, a heated discussion erupted over the draft amendment to the Law on Pharmaceuticals in Armenia.

The adoption of the draft legislation aims to regulate the licensing of wholesale distribution of pharmaceuticals, extend the deadline for obtaining certificates for proper distribution of prescription medications acquired under state targeted programs, and ensure public awareness through mass media.

Kristine Poghosyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction, stated during the discussion that she would vote against the draft due to serious concerns regarding corruption risks. In response, Health Minister Arsen Torosyan expressed his outrage, asserting that Poghosyan accuses them of corruption instead of being constructive, adding that this will have serious political consequences.
