Who Do They Want to Appoint as the Director of the NSS? 'Fact'
Defense lawyer Tigran Yegoryan and Constitutional Court judge Vahe Grigoryan are doing everything possible these days to appoint Mikhail Hambardzumyan, head of the NSS’s Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption, as the new director of the NSS.
According to a source in the law enforcement system, Mikhail Hambardzumyan is a classmate of Vahe Grigoryan.
“If Hambardzumyan's candidacy is confirmed, the opposition will gain significant positions in the law enforcement block, and active work is being done for this prospect. It is worth noting that the media previously reported that Mikhail Hambardzumyan is sparing no effort in his bid to become the NSS director and has even instructed to examine the 'dossiers' of his potential competitors and find evidence to use against them,” reported the 'Fact' newspaper.
