New Details on the Tragic Car Accident in Syunik Province
The senior investigator of the Sisian investigative department of the Syunik regional investigative office of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Tovmasyan, confirmed that within the framework of a criminal case initiated under Article 242 Part 3 of the RA Criminal Code, details about the tragic car accident that occurred on November 20 in Syunik Province have been clarified.
According to Shamshyan.com, it has been established that a VAZ 2109 car was driven by 45-year-old Aram G. from the village of Brnakot in Syunik Province. As a result of the accident, he and his passenger, 45-year-old Nver M., a fellow villager, died at the scene. Meanwhile, Nver’s wife, 41-year-old Karine G., their daughters, 16-year-old Sona M. and 17-year-old Nvard M., and their son, 6-year-old Vladik M. were taken to the Sisian medical center with bodily injuries.
According to sources, the driver Aram G. was serving as a contract soldier in the RA Ministry of Defense, while the injured children are studying in different grades at the Brnakot village secondary school.
