Lost Citizens on the Road to Mount Azhdahak Make Contact
Gegham Ohanyan, the head of the "Kharuyk" hiking club, has contacted his relatives, stating that everything is normal and that they are situated between Mount Azhdahak and Spitaksar, according to SHANTNEWS.
On November 21 at 21:27, the "911" service received a call reporting that two citizens had gone to Mount Azhdahak, and there had been no contact with them for an extended period. Assistance was needed to carry out search and rescue operations.
An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations dispatched to the site, along with two rescue teams from the special operations center for conducting rescue missions. The search involved 10 rescue personnel and 15 citizens. The search efforts concluded without success.
It is noteworthy that Gegham Ohanyan was accompanied by Henrik Gevorgyan, a member of the "Tondrak" hiking club.
