Lars Closed for Cargo Vehicles

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of November 22, at 10:41, the roads in the territory of Armenia are passable. In the Tavush and Lori regions, there is snowfall. In the Syunik region, there are isolated patches of black ice, and fog is reported in Goris.

According to information from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia regarding Lars, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for cargo vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Construction work is underway on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen highway, which has also resulted in the closure of this road segment for cargo vehicles. An alternative route has been established as follows: Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagratashen.
