I am much richer than people think. Trump elaborates

U.S. President Donald Trump has promised to release his financial statement before the presidential elections scheduled for next year. This was revealed in a tweet from the U.S. president.

The head of state explained this decision as a response to the “constant witch hunt” being conducted against him by “Democrat prosecutors in New York.” Trump emphasized that former special counsel Robert Mueller, who oversaw the investigation into “collusion between Russia and Trump's campaign,” examined the president's entire finances and tax documents, but “found nothing.”

“This has never happened with former presidents. What they are doing is illegal. However, I am clean, and when I release my financial statement before the elections (that is my decision), it will become clear that I am much richer than people think, and that is good,” the U.S. president wrote on his Twitter account.

On November 8, a New York court ordered Donald Trump to pay $2 million to a group of non-profit organizations as part of a settlement agreement. The lawsuit was filed on June 14 by New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood.

According to the attorney general, there has been “a pattern of continuing illegal conduct over more than a decade, which includes repeated and intentional transactions serving Trump’s personal and business interests within an expanded illegal political system related to Trump’s presidential campaign, as well as violations of the fundamental legal obligations of non-profit foundations.”
