MP Yerjanik Hakobyan Dismisses Shahen Harutyunyan from His Position
The president of the "Tseghakron" party, Shant Harutyunyan's son, Shahen Harutyunyan, will no longer work in the National Assembly from November 1. He announced this on his Facebook page, stating:
“Dear compatriots, I inform you that I will no longer work in the Armenian National Assembly as of November 1. After working in the National Assembly for about 10 months, I have gained certain experience in the state sector. I believe that this work experience will help me integrate more smoothly into the state working processes, if given the opportunity.
P.S. I am leaving the National Assembly not by my own request but by dismissal, as the arguments brought to me for my resignation were not convincing, at least not for me. I hope that this post will not become an object of speculation.”
Shahen Harutyunyan started his work in the National Assembly in January 2019. He worked alongside MP Yerjanik Hakobyan from the “My Step” faction.
