Major Fire Claims Lives of Numerous Calves, Pigs, Sheep, Lambs, and Chickens

On November 20, at 21:31, the "911" service received information about a barn fire in the village of Semionovka, Gegharkunik Province. Two fire-rescue units from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

At 22:06, due to the complexity of the fire, a second fire unit was sent with two additional teams. Another fire unit was dispatched at 22:20, and again at 01:07. A total of 20 rescuers were involved in the firefighting efforts.

As a result of the firefighting operations carried out throughout the night, the fire was successfully contained by 09:39 on November 21. It has been reported that the fire resulted in the deaths of a significant number of calves, pigs, sheep, lambs, and chickens.
