Mkhitarist Congregation Should Continue to Play a Key Role in Armenian Reality, Says Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is currently on Saint Lazarus Island, visiting the Mkhitarist Congregation in Venice. He expressed regret that the formal reason for his visit was due to a flood, but he noted that he has always sought opportunities to visit this significant site.
Pashinyan stated that the Mkhitarist Congregation has played an important role in Armenian reality and history, expressing his belief that it should continue to hold a crucial position in the future, thanks to its scholarly heritage. He highlighted that the rich scholarly legacy has contributed significantly to the preservation of Armenian identity.
He also mentioned that preserving and developing Armenian identity is essential for his political party, the Civil Contract.
