Protests in Georgia Set to Resume, Opposition Announces Upcoming Plans
Protests against the government continue in Tbilisi. Representatives of the opposition have announced their upcoming plans. They are set to organize a protest on November 25 and block the entrance to Parliament on November 26, effectively surrounding the building.
One of the organizers, Shota Digmelashvili, reiterated their demands, stating that proportional elections are an unavoidable necessity. This was reported by Грузия Online.
It is worth noting that yesterday, during a protest near the Parliament building in Tbilisi, police arrested 37 individuals. Earlier reports indicated that law enforcement used water cannons against protesters who had blocked the entrances to the Parliament building.
