Father of Family Poisoned by Gas in Nor Hachn is Already in Armenia, Says Kotayk Governor
Arman Margaryan, the father of four children who were poisoned by gas along with their grandmother, has returned to Armenia. Today, a funeral service for the five family members will be held, with the burial ceremony taking place tomorrow.
This information was shared with the Armenian Times by Kotayk Governor Romanos Petrosyan.
It is important to note that the tragic incident in Nor Hachn occurred on November 16, where the four children and their grandmother were found dead. The bodies of 77-year-old Zhanna Simonian, 16-year-old Eduard M., 15-year-old Tigran S., 14-year-old Zhanna M., and 12-year-old Serine M. were discovered in their apartment. Two of the children were in the bathroom while the other two were in bed.
The father of the children was in Ukraine when he heard about the death of his five family members. In a hurry to return to Armenia, he violated the immigration regime of Russian legislation while crossing the border from Ukraine to Russia, which led to him being detained in the airport's special holding area until a court ruling was made regarding the case. The judicial process was expedited with the intervention of the Armenian authorities, allowing Arman Margaryan the opportunity to say his final goodbye to his mother and children.
