21-Year-Old Arrested for Stealing from a Woman's Bag on Bus 47

On November 17, the Arabkir division of the police received a report from a woman who stated that her wallet containing cash was stolen from her bag on bus number 47 on the same day.

Police personnel began taking appropriate measures, and they were joined by officers from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Yerevan Police, Division 6. As a result of their joint efforts, information was obtained suggesting that the suspect may be a 21-year-old resident of Kapan.

On November 18, around 11 AM, the suspect was apprehended from France Square in the capital and brought to the Arabkir division of the police. He has provided a confessional statement. Efforts are underway to recover the stolen property. Investigative materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
