Portugal Secures Ticket to Euro 2020

The reigning champion of the European Championship, the Portuguese national team, has secured a ticket to Euro 2020.

According to Armenpress, in the 10th round of the qualification phase Group B, Portugal won against Luxembourg with a score of 2:0, clinching the second place in the group and thus securing a spot in the final tournament. Ukraine had already secured the first place and a ticket to the tournament earlier.

Previously, 16 of the 24 teams participating in Euro 2020 were already known: Czech Republic, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Italy, Spain, England, Russia, Ukraine, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Poland, Turkey, Germany, and Croatia.

Euro 2020, featuring 24 teams, will take place across 12 stadiums in 12 cities in Europe. The draw for the group stage of Euro 2020 will take place on November 30.
