VIDEO: 83-Year-Old Man Asks Nikol Pashinyan About Deposits, Prime Minister Responds Half-Jokingly

In the village of Zoravan, Kotayk Province, an 83-year-old man approached Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today, November 17, inquiring about the payment of his deposits.

"I have 18 grandchildren, 11 boys, and 7 girls, and 300 great-grandchildren. One day I will go to my grandson's house and say, 'Give me grandpa's money,' and I will reply, 'I'll give it to you when they return the money from the savings bank.' Now they say, 'I need to buy a diamond, or a ring.' I'm begging you," the elderly man addressed Pashinyan.

Pashinyan responded half-jokingly, mentioning that when grandchildren see their grandfather, they should not be asking for money but should rather inquire about his health. "If daughters-in-law want diamonds, they should tell their husbands to work; they should also work. As for the issue of deposits, it's a complicated matter and is being returned in some form. We are thinking about that too," Pashinyan said.

He was reminded that he would definitely receive support next year, to which Pashinyan added that he could not resolve the issue individually but would work to address it as quickly as possible.

It's noteworthy that during his visit to the Zoravan community in the Yeghvard region, Pashinyan was familiarizing himself with the renovation works of the kindergarten-art school, which is also being carried out within the framework of subsidy programs.
