Road Conditions in Armenia

Closed and difficult-to-navigate roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of November 17th, at 08:30, the roads in the Republic of Armenia are passable. However, there is fog on the Goris-'Zanger' highway.

Regarding the Lars situation, according to information received from the Department of Roads under the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Construction works are ongoing on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen road, which has resulted in the closure of this section for trucks. An alternative route has been established: Dilijan-Novemberyan-Bagratashen.
